Terms & Conditions

1. Contract is not a binding agreement until deposit payment is made. You will receive an email with a link for secure transaction from Paypal after submitting contract.

2. Minimum deposit of $225 is required as a retainer. See package chart for the required deposits amount per your package.

3. All deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable and due in full on the wedding date, even in the event of a date change or wedding cancellation for any reason. We will do whatever we can to work with you should this occur. However If you cancel prior to 60 days from the event date you are only responsible for 50% of the total contracted amount.

4. The remainder is due one week before the wedding day. The balance owed must be received before any photographs will be processed.

5. Proofs and high resolution digital files will be delivered in approximately one to three weeks from the wedding date.

6. If M. Lane Images is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, act of terrorism or other cause beyond the control of the parties, M. Lane Images shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. If M. Lane Images is unable to perform to the obligations in this contract for any other reason, M. Lane Images will not be liable for costs in excess of the amount the client has paid. This limitation of liability will also apply in the event that the high resolution digital files are lost through camera malfunction, damaged in processing, lost in the mail, or otherwise damaged or lost with or without fault of the photographer. While every attempt is made to create the best images possible, no particular photo is guaranteed.

7. In the event of Photographer’s illness or other unforeseen circumstance, M. Lane may substitute another competent, professional photographer to take the photographs.

8. The client will obtain proofs and high resolution digital files which may be used for newspaper announcements. Images may be used for personal use only, and may not be sold or published without the written consent of M. Lane Images. Photos may not be posted online for sale on commercial photo lab websites.

9. All rights to images created by M. Lane Images will remain with the M. Lane Images with release understanding to the Bride and Groom.

M. Lane Images reserves the right to display any photographs made in conjunction with this wedding as samples and showroom exhibit, advertising, promotion on the internet, publication, instruction and professional competition.

10. Time starts when the photographer arrives and the time finishes when the coverage time runs out.

11. The client understands that due to the inherent qualities of photographic dyes and materials, the photographs may fade or discolor over time. The client agrees to release M. Lane Images from any liability for any claims based whatsoever upon fading or discoloration due to such inherent qualities. If during the wedding ceremony flash photography is not allowed, the client understands that high ISO settings must be used creating a pixilated or grainy effect in the photographs.

12. Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. This agreement incorporates the entire understanding of the parties and is governed by the laws of the States of Illinois and Wisconsin and the US.
